Greeting’s InetEntrepreneurs. It’s a Great day everyone! I pray you all are feeling happy. If you are not, read on because this is the topic of today’s article. This article is for you and should help you change your state to happiness by the end of it. With all the depression, war, hate, and crime it’s no wonder you aren’t in a state of happiness for those of you who aren’t. However amongst the economy and all the negative things you can create long lasting happiness in your life. You are on this earth to be happy, to fulfill your purpose and share with the world how great and unique you are. So let’s get you on your way to doing that.
How can you have happiness right now?
You may be wondering how in the world can anyone have happiness right now with all the negative things going on. We will get into this in great detail as this article will extend over a few series. Matter of fact this will be a continuous discussion so feel free to share and tweet this with all of your friend’s, followers, family, and connections. The key thing to know is that happiness is a state of mind. That means you can change that state at any given point. I can tell you one quick way to instantly change your state of mind instantly, and that is to turn off the television (particularly the news). It does not help you become in a state of happiness. How could you with all the problems you hear and see on the news every single day. You can’t be, it’s depressing! You want to be happy right now? Give yourself a mental break from the negative paradigms you see every day on TV. It can change your state to happiness just like that.
Where does happiness come from?
When I talk about happiness, I am referring to that feeling you had of the greatest day you ever had and multiplying that times 1000 (having that feeling all the time any time you want)! It’s not that I do not have problems or feel pain as everyone else does. I do. I am human and have the same feelings as everyone else. I have many of the same problems, feel many of the same pains, and have many of the same fears. However I have learned that happiness come from within. I do not look for anything outside of myself to make me happy, ie cars, money, other people, homes, relationships, etc. Outside forces only provide temporary feelings of happiness. Believe me I enjoy and want all of those things just as you and everyone else. No matter how great those things are, they will not give you long term fulfillment. In fact, nothing on the outside will give you permanent, long lasting happiness. If you continue to look for the outside forces to make you get in a state of happiness, you will always have to chase those things to keep you in a state of happiness. It’s one of the reasons you see someone who appears to have everything a person could want in life, but they are miserable. Happiness is internal, not external.
When was the last time you had happiness in your life
Think about when you got something new, how long did the feeling last? What happened when the feeling past? You have to understand the problems and pain that you and I face in life are temporary, just as the joy of getting something new. The feelings will past, so in order to have long term fulfilling happiness, you have to change your thinking (state of mind) of what you need in order to be happy. Remember, happiness is your natural being and can be harnessed continuously at any given time. YOU just have to tap into it. There are a few things you can do to achieve this, you are going to learn from others in the community as they share their experiences of what works for them. (so be sure to check back to read the comments of others to help you apply techniques in your life). To help you get started being in a state of happiness today, right NOW, let’s give you an assignment….Think about what you are grateful for? We will get into more things you can do in the next article, but let’s start right there. This will help put in you a state of happiness.
Final thoughts on happiness
Please comment and let the entrepreneur community know what you are grateful for! I’ll start off. There are many things I am grateful for which contributes to my happiness. One thing that I am grateful for is waking up every single day, to breathe and live life another day. I am also grateful for the family, friends and connections that are in my life. This helps me change my state to happiness. What about you? What are you grateful for? Think about those simple things in life they you are grateful for. It can help change your state of mind to happiness.
Write it down and refer to it as often as you need. When you are feeling a certain way (other than a state of happiness), read it. It will help change your state to happiness instantly! In a later article we will dive into more things you can do.
